Backgammon at a table in Freetown. iPhone and iPad.
Email hello@freetowntycoon.com and we will get back to you, usually within two working days. Please tell us your device model and iOS version so we can help faster.
Backgammon, the ordinary rules. Tap the dice in the corner to roll. Tap a checker to move it to the obvious point, or drag it where you want it. Bear all fifteen of your checkers off before your opponent does and you win the game.
If you are not sure which checkers may move, leave Show guides on in Settings: it rings the ones that can move and marks where they can go.
The AUTO badge beside the dice turns automatic rolling on and off. Green is on: your turn begins with the dice already thrown, and the roll button goes away. Tap the badge to get it back.
You earn one coin for every game you win. Everything on the table, the drinks, the cake, the lighters, the ashtrays and the stickers, is bought with those coins, and the whole shop comes to 75 of them. You never have to pay for any of it. Coin packs exist for people who would rather not wait, and are at the bottom of the shop.
First reopen the game while connected to the internet. Most purchases complete on their own. If it still has not arrived, scroll to the bottom of the shop and tap Restore purchases. If nothing comes back, check you are signed in to the same Apple Account you paid with.
Still nothing? Email us and include the receipt Apple sent you. Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us: request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
A short advert appears between some games. Buying No ads in the shop removes every one of them, permanently, on any device signed in to the same Apple Account.
Whether adverts are chosen for you or at random is up to you: there is a Personalised ads switch in Settings, and you can change it as often as you like. Turning it off does not mean fewer adverts. It means the ones you see were chosen knowing nothing about you.
If you allow notifications, the game will occasionally suggest a game: at most one a day, never at night, and it goes quiet on its own if you stop playing. Turn them off any time under Settings › Notifications › Freetown Dice on your device.
Your record, coins and everything you own are stored on your device only. Deleting the app removes them, and there is no cloud copy to restore them from. Purchases are the exception: those live with your Apple Account and come back with Restore purchases.
If your progress disappeared without you deleting anything, email us with your device model and roughly when it happened.
Close other apps and restart your device first. If it continues, email us with your device model and iOS version and we will look into it.
The game keeps no account and holds nothing about you on our side. Deleting the app deletes everything it stored. See the privacy policy.
